The following is photographs of a revisal of a Form + Aesthetic / Variability project. I was not fond of how it turned out the first time so I have redone it.

In this series there are three groups of 33 crayons. There is a white group with one purple crayon; there is a black group with one purple crayon, although it is hard to see it; and there is a purple group with one black and one white crayon.
For me this talks about fitting in. It is hard to find something that works for you. You find yourself different and on the outside of groups. But there are some groups that you fit into and they are welcoming and encompassing to other people too. For me this kind of represents my life and how I have found a way to socialize within certain groups of people. We are all the same, we just happen to look a little different sometimes.
